The Central Election Commission (CEC) will hold its next meeting today, where preparations for the upcoming election day on February 9, 2025, are expected to be discussed.
According to a media statement, several agenda items will be addressed, including the review and approval of the list of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MPJD) officials for engagement in Diplomatic Representations on election day.
“The review and approval of the list of MPJD officials for engagement in Diplomatic Representations on election day, the review and approval of the replacement of members of the Electoral Commission, the review and approval of the number of Election Polling Stations (KVEL), and the review and approval of the operational plan for election day,” the statement reads.
