The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the counting of ballots from voters outside Kosovo is approaching completion.
In a Facebook post, the CEC reported that from Friday afternoon until Monday, 129 ballot boxes from mayoral elections and 109 boxes from municipal assembly elections have been counted.
“At the Counting and Results Center, the counting of ballots from voters outside Kosovo for the Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies continues. This process is now nearing its conclusion,” the announcement said.
The CEC confirmed that the counting covers votes cast abroad, emphasizing that the mail-in vote process is in its final stages.
