Following the decision of the Supreme Court regarding two appeals related to the election results, the path has been cleared for their certification. As a result, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has scheduled a meeting on the matter for tomorrow, reports Gazeta Sinjali.

The meeting will begin at 16:00, and the agenda has been published.

Initially, the replacement of elected candidates who have resigned from the deputy position will be carried out, followed by the certification of the final results.

In a related development, the Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected as unfounded the appeals of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), a candidate from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), and the Ashkali Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDAK) – LPB, which opposed the decisions of the Panel for Election Complaints and Appeals (PZAP).

LVV filed an appeal to the Supreme Court against PZAP’s decision, which had not accepted its request to annul the postal votes received by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and for a postal re-vote.

Meanwhile, the Basic Prosecution in Pristina has launched an investigation into the postal voting process, following LVV’s claims of manipulation by LDK.
