The Central Election Commission (CEC) announces that the period for political entities to apply for certification and to submit their lists of candidates for the Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies, scheduled for October 12, 2025, is now underway.
This application period began on June 26 and will conclude on August 13, 2025.
To facilitate the application process, the CEC has launched an electronic platform that will allow political entities to submit their applications online.
How to Apply
- Step One: The authorized representative of the political entity (citizen initiative and independent candidates) must complete the required data online on the platform: https://apliko.kqz-ks.org. Registered political parties and coalitions have already been provided with their login credentials and are not required to follow this step.
- Step Two: After the initial application, the Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control of Political Entities (ZRCKFSP) will review and either approve or reject the preliminary application. Upon verification, ZRCKFSP will send the authorized representative credentials via email to access the online platform and submit the full application.
