The Central Election Commission (CEC) is planning to conclude the recounting process of polling stations on Friday, January 30.
The news was confirmed by the CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, who stated that more than 90% of polling stations have already been recounted, and the remaining ones are expected to be completed by Friday.
“The recounting of polling stations is continuing at the Counting and Results Center. So far, over 90% of polling stations have been recounted, and the CEC is planning for the remaining polling stations to be recounted by Friday,” Elezi told Gazeta Express.
Regarding when the final results will be announced, Elezi said that this “depends on the time the recount is completed, and a new announcement will be made by the Central Election Commission.”
