The counting of postal votes is expected to be completed on Tuesday, a process that is still ongoing.

The spokesperson for the Central Election Commission (CEC), Valmir Elezi, stated that after this, conditional votes and those of people with special needs will be counted.

“Once all these processes are completed and after receiving confirmation from the PZAP (Election Complaints and Appeals Panel) and the Supreme Court that there are no pending cases being reviewed by these institutions, then the CEC will be able to announce the final results for political parties and candidates for deputies,” he said.

In the early hours of Monday, the CEC updated the results of the postal votes counted so far, which are valid for the regular parliamentary elections held on February 9.

With over 66 percent of voting stations processed, the Vetëvendosje Movement is leading with 52.72 percent, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo with 29.8 percent.

According to the results published online by the electoral authorities, in third place is the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 7.98 percent, while in fourth place is the coalition between the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Social Democratic Initiative, with 3.32 percent.
