The Central Election Commission (CEC) has processed results from 77.54% of the mail-in votes for the February 9 elections, based on 145 out of 187 boxes.
According to these results, Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) leads with 52.15% of the votes, totaling 24,507 votes.
Following VV, Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës (LDK) ranks second with 29.24%, or 13,742 votes, while Partia Demokratike e Kosovës (PDK) comes third with 9.70%, or 4,560 votes.
Aleanca për Ardhmërinë e Kosovës (AAK) holds the fourth position with 3.06%, or 1,438 votes.
CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi stated that the final results for the February 9 elections are expected to be announced soon.
“We believe we will complete the count for all mail-in ballots shortly. After that, we will start counting conditional ballots from 56 voting stations and votes from persons with special needs. Once all these processes are concluded and we receive confirmation from the Election Panel for Appeals and Complaints and the Supreme Court regarding any ongoing issues, the CEC will announce the final results for political entities and candidates for deputies,” Elezi said.
