The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the vote counting process is being carried out in 26 Municipal Counting Centers. According to the CEC, today the counting started in the Municipal Counting Centers in Suharekë, Ferizaj, and Vushtrri, while in the afternoon, counting began in Kaçanik, Novobërdë, Prizren, Shtime, and Junik.
Meanwhile, the CEC emphasized that on February 11 and 12, vote counting for parliamentary candidates and verification of votes for political entities began, using the completed forms at the polling stations in the Municipal Counting Centers of the following municipalities: Deçan, Gjakovë, Drenas, Gjilan, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenicë, South Mitrovica, Lipjan, Obiliq, Pristina, Skënderaj, Shtërpcë, Viti, Ranillug, Partesh, Kllokot, North Mitrovica, and Hani i Elezit.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kreshnik Radoniqi, stated that the vote counting process may take up to two weeks. He emphasized that since the counting is not yet completed in all Municipal Counting Centers, it is difficult to make an accurate estimate of the duration of the process. Radoniqi added that, however, a period of up to two weeks is possible to conclude the entire vote counting process.
