Çeku: We Will Continue the Fight for Compensation for Crimes Committed by Serbia

He stated that the report is the result of work by the state commission appointed by the Government, with members from state and professional institutions.

“During the war, alongside numerous war crimes, the Serbian genocidal project also targeted Kosovo’s cultural heritage. The Serbian culturicide in Kosovo had devastating consequences,” Çeku wrote.

According to this report, 1,784 monuments were destroyed, 3,724 artifacts were looted, 175 libraries were demolished, 1.7 million Albanian-language books were destroyed, tens of thousands of archival documents related to monuments were stolen, and hundreds of works of art were damaged or stolen.

Minister Çeku emphasized that they will not stop for a moment in their fight for justice and compensation from Serbia.
