Police in Istog discovered a video recording of a celebration with firearms in the village of Cerkolez, during the Orthodox Christmas holiday, around 10:00 AM yesterday.
Relevant police units identified the suspect, who, during an interview with police officers, admitted to having more weapons at his home.
At the suspect’s house, the following items were found and seized:
- CZ 75B pistol
- Two magazines for the same pistol
- M57 7.62mm semi-automatic rifle
- Hunting rifle
“The suspect has been arrested, and after an interview with investigators, he was released in accordance with the State Prosecutor’s decision and regular procedures,” the statement concluded.
