The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, submitted the 2025 Annual Report to the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, who is also serving as the Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, according to a statement issued by the Central Bank.
According to the BQK, the 2025 Annual Report reflects the institution’s activities, developments, and achievements in fulfilling its constitutional and legal mandate to preserve financial stability, strengthen the integrity of the financial system, protect the public interest, and ensure institutional sustainability.
The meeting also focused on the key reforms and initiatives implemented throughout the year, including the advancement of the macroprudential and supervisory framework, regulatory alignment with European Union standards, the development of the payments system, preparations for Single Euro Payments Area as an inter-institutional process, progress on the TIPS Clone project, and the strengthening of consumer protection, financial education, and financial inclusion.
