The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo has announced that the online application period is ongoing for the accreditation of observers and media covering the Local Elections for Municipal Mayors and Municipal Assemblies, scheduled for October 12, 2025.
Eligible entities including certified political parties, NGOs, governmental and intergovernmental organizations, specialized international election and human rights organizations, media outlets, and foreign representatives can submit their accreditation requests online within the following deadlines:
- Political party observers: Application deadline is September 17, 2025
- Observers from NGOs, governmental/intergovernmental bodies, international organizations, and foreign representatives: Deadline is September 27, 2025
- Local and international media accreditation: Deadline is October 7, 2025
How to Apply?
- The authorized representative of the organization or media must fill out the online application form on the platform:
https://apliko.kqz-ks.org - The Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control of Political Subjects (ZRCKFSP) will review the applications and approve or reject the initial requests. Upon verification, ZRCKFSP will send accreditation credentials via email to the authorized representative to upload information for the persons seeking accreditation.

Only observers officially accredited by the CEC will be allowed to monitor the Local Elections on October 12, 2025, as well as activities at the 38 Municipal Counting Centers (QKN) and the Central Counting and Results Center (QNR).
