The grand celebration in Paris following Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory descended into chaos and tension near the “Parc des Princes” stadium, where thousands of fans had gathered to watch the match on a giant screen, reports Rks News.

Footage shared on social media shows moments of panic as crowds ran amid explosions and police intervention. Law enforcement used tear gas to control the situation.

According to French media, around 5,400 police and gendarmerie officers were deployed to maintain order, while at least 294 individuals were arrested for violent behavior and rioting.

A serious incident occurred immediately after the match ended, when a speeding vehicle struck four people in the crowd—two 17-year-old boys, a 23-year-old woman, and a 46-year-old woman. The injured are reportedly in stable condition. The driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended and arrested by police a few minutes later.

French authorities have called for calm and respect for public order during the celebrations.
