Chaos in Front of the Albanian Parliament: Molotov Cocktails and Fireworks Thrown, Police Respond with Tear Gas

Another opposition protest is taking place in Albania, initially starting in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where tensions were reported.

Following the clashes at the Prime Minister’s Office, protesters marched towards the Parliament.

Tensions escalated around the Albanian Parliament as well, where demonstrators clashed with police, throwing Molotov cocktails and fireworks.

Police responded by deploying tear gas to calm the situation outside the Parliament.

As a result of the attacks with Molotov cocktails, pyrotechnic devices, and hard objects, five police officers were injured and transported for medical assistance, having suffered burns and physical injuries from the thrown objects.
