Learta Hollaj, Chief of the Cabinet of President Vjosa Osmani, has responded on the platform “X” regarding Serbia’s position following U.S. intervention in Venezuela, describing it as openly anti-American and supportive of Nicolás Maduro’s regime.

In her statement, Hollaj emphasized that this reflects Serbia’s chosen political orientation:

Anti-American. Pro-Maduro. This is Serbia’s choice.

Referring to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s response, Hollaj highlighted that he attacked U.S. President Donald Trump following the U.S. actions in Venezuela. According to Hollaj, Vučić claimed that “public international law no longer exists and the UN order exists only on paper”, while simultaneously defending Maduro’s regime.

Hollaj added that this stance signals support for what she calls Maduro’s “narco-terrorist regime”, underscoring that Serbia’s reaction clearly positions it against the United States and Western values.
