The World Health Organization (WHO) in Albania has announced that on Wednesday evening, a 1-year-old child from Gaza was evacuated for medical treatment and transferred to Albania for specialized care.
The statement reports that the child is currently at the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical care.
Meanwhile, the child’s family, including the father, brother, and sister, have been accommodated at a refugee center in Babrru, Tirana.
The WHO in Albania has shared images from the child’s evacuation and praised the representatives of Albanian institutions who contributed to the realization of this humanitarian aid.
