China has sharply criticized the United States following its airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, labeling them a “flagrant violation of international law” and a destabilizing factor for the Middle East.

In an official statement published on X, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “China strongly condemns the US attacks on Iran and the bombing of nuclear facilities under IAEA protection. Their actions seriously violate the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law,” as reported by The Guardian.

Beijing warned that this action only exacerbates the situation in the region and reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire, with a focus on protecting civilians and returning to the negotiating table.

“China calls on all parties, especially Israel, to stop the attacks and return to dialogue. We are ready to cooperate with the international community to uphold justice and work for peace and stability in the Middle East,” the Chinese statement concluded.
