China has issued a strong response to former US President Donald Trump’s recent statements regarding his decision to impose tariffs on Chinese products, escalating tensions between the two economic giants.

Through its embassy in Washington, China criticized the US for failing to consult it as an equal partner before taking such measures.
Beijing warned that it is fully prepared for any kind of conflict, stating:
“If the US wants war—be it a tariff war, a trade war, or any other kind of war—we are ready to fight until the end.”

The statement signals a potential escalation in US-China relations, particularly in trade and economic policies, raising concerns about global market stability.
