The President of China, Xi Jinping, is “very happy” that the Strait of Hormuz is reopening, according to Donald Trump, who shared the statement on social media.
The current uncertainty surrounding the reopening of this key waterway was also reflected in his post, where the U.S. president said it “is open and/or opening rapidly.”
The American president added that he is looking forward to meeting the Chinese leader on May 14–15 and described the upcoming meeting as “special.”
