An aerial attack by Russian forces on July 3 in the city of Odesa caused damage to the building of the Chinese Consulate General, Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, announced on July 4.
“Following tonight’s massive Russian air attack on Ukraine, we discovered in Kyiv a part of a Russian-Iranian Shahed-136/Geran-2 combat drone, which was produced in China and supplied only recently,” Sybiha wrote on platform X.
He added, “And precisely on the eve of this development, the building of the Chinese Consulate General in Odesa suffered minor damage.”
The July 3 air attack in Odesa resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to six others.
