The defense team for former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi has officially confirmed that both former NATO General Wesley Clark and former U.S. Special Envoy for Kosovo Christopher Hill will testify in his favor at The Hague.

Radio Dukagjini has learned that Christopher Hill is set to be a witness for Thaçi’s defense. Hill was directly involved in the negotiations that led to the Rambouillet Agreement.
- Rambouillet Involvement: Hill was engaged as part of the ‘Contact Group‘ tasked with finding a peaceful solution between Kosovo and Serbia during the 1999 meetings in Rambouillet, France.
- Career Highlights: The American diplomat recently served as Ambassador to Serbia, Iraq, Korea, Poland, Macedonia, and Albania. He also served as Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs and as head of the U.S. delegation to the Six-Party Talks on North Korea.
- Recognition: Hill is the recipient of multiple awards, including the “Robert Fraser Award for Peace Negotiations” and the “Secretary of State’s Award for Distinguished Service.”
General Wesley Clark Confirmed as Defense Witness
Separately, the testimony of former NATO Commander, General Wesley Clark, was officially confirmed. Clark led the 78-day bombing campaign against the former Yugoslavia.
