“Good news from both sides is expected soon,” a regional source told CNN, following Pakistan’s proposal to Donald Trump to extend the ultimatum for Iran.
According to the same source, the proposal includes a two-week ceasefire as part of diplomatic negotiations, and it is estimated that an agreement could be reached even overnight.
The talks are reportedly being led by Pakistan’s military chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, suggested that the communications are at a critical juncture, with positive messages circulating from both sides.
