A tragic accident occurred today around 12:25 PM in the village of Jagodë, Klinë, when a train collided with a car carrying three passengers, reports Rks News.
As a result of the impact, one passenger lost their life, while the other two sustained bodily injuries and were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The news was confirmed for Sinjali by the spokesperson of the Peja region police, Fadil Gashi, who stated:
“The incident happened around 12:25. Emergency teams and firefighters responded to the scene. The victim’s death was confirmed by the attending physician at the site. The two injured individuals were transported to the Emergency Department of the Regional Hospital in Peja.”
Regarding the condition of the injured, no further details are currently available as they are still receiving medical treatment.
“They are still being treated in the Emergency Room. Their condition is not yet known,” said Besnik Ibraj, Head of the Emergency Department in Peja.
