On Sunday evening, an agreement was reached for the return of citizens deported from the U.S. to Colombia.

This cooperative effort comes after tensions between the Colombian and U.S. presidents.

The tensions began earlier in the day when Colombian President Gustavo Petro blocked two U.S. military flights carrying undocumented immigrants to be deported back to their country.

This move was followed by a strong response from U.S. President Donald Trump, who used threatening language against Colombia on his social media.
