The Commercial Court has issued a significant decision concerning the Energy Regulatory Office’s (ERO) notification for businesses to enter the free market.
The news was announced by Kushtrim Ajvazi, head of the Association of Kosovo Producers, via a social media post. He stated that the Court has completely suspended ERO’s decision.
ERO’s Decision Deemed Entirely Illegal
“Important news! The good thing about this ruling is that the Court has completely suspended the decision/notification for entering the free market, and not just for any specific article,” Ajvazi wrote.
“This means that the Court has confirmed that ERO’s decision is entirely illegal – a big step towards protecting businesses and the legal order.”
Ajvazi extended special thanks to the lawyers, stating, “A special thanks to the lawyers who are doing an excellent job, convincing the Court that ERO has illegally forced businesses to enter the free market. Justice is working. We continue until the end!”
