The Constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly has failed, as the report from the Commission for the Verification of Mandates did not pass.
The session chair, Avni Dehari, stated that they will address a letter to the President, Vjosa Osmani, to seek guidance on how to proceed further.
The Presidency of Kosovo has informed that they have not yet received any letter from the Assembly regarding this issue.
“Until now, no letter has been received from the Assembly. The question must come before the response,” said Bekim Kupina, the media advisor at the Presidency.
PDK, LDK, and AAK voted today against the report for the verification of mandates. The leader of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, stated that they did not approve the report as they believe it is unconstitutional.
