Even today, the process for the application for converting driver’s licenses, from illegal Serbian ones, to drivers’ licenses of the Republic of Kosovo continued.
The deputy police director for the northern region, Veton Elshani, said that 121 such requests were submitted today alone.
Since the beginning of this term, on May 9, 2294 requests for conversion have been submitted by Serbian citizens throughout the country.
For two months now, the most requests for conversion have been in North Mitrovica – 621.
Then in Leposaviq, 598 requests, as well as in Zveçan – 394 requests.
The smallest number of requests was submitted in the municipality of Zubin Potok: 328.
All Serbian citizens of the Republic of Kosovo have until August 9 to convert illegal driver’s licenses into RKS ones.
