Court Approves Arrest Warrant for Milan Radoiçiq Over 2022 Barricades

The Basic Court in Pristina has approved the Special Prosecution’s request to issue both a domestic and international arrest warrant for Milan Radoiçiq, in connection with the investigation into the barricades erected in 2022 in the four northern municipalities of Kosovo.

The arrest warrant also applies to 10 additional individuals suspected of involvement.

The news was confirmed by Arbnora Luta, spokesperson for the Special Prosecution:

“The Basic Court in Pristina has approved the Special Prosecutor’s request to issue domestic and international warrants for Milan Radoiçiq. The arrest warrant is part of an ongoing investigation into the 2022 barricades placed in the northern municipalities. In addition to Radoiçiq, warrants have also been issued for 10 other suspects in this case,” she stated.

The prosecution is investigating around 50 individuals for criminal offenses, including:

  • Obstruction of official persons in performing official duties
  • Incitement to resistance
  • Association for unconstitutional activities

Due to the ongoing investigative phase, further details have not been disclosed, but the public will be informed as developments unfold.
