The next court session for the “Banjska” case is scheduled to take place today at the Basic Court in Pristina.
The session, set to begin at 9:30 AM, will involve the accused Blagoje Spasojević, Vladimir Tolić, and Dušan Maksimović.
The last court session for these defendants was postponed due to the absence of a witness proposed by the Prosecutor’s Office. Judge Arben Hoti stated that witness A2, who was expected to testify all day, was not present, leading to the postponement. “I conclude that due to the absence of the witness, there are no conditions for the continuation of the judicial review,” Hoti declared.
Several members of the Kosovo Police have testified for the prosecution since the “Banjska” case began on April 17.
The Special Prosecutor’s Office has filed indictments against 45 individuals for the terrorist attack in Banjska. This list includes prominent figures such as Milan Radoičić, identified as the group’s leader, as well as Blagoje Spasojević, Vladimir Tolić, Dušan Maksimović, and dozens of others.
The accusations involve terrorist acts and offenses against Kosovo’s constitutional order and security, including the use of armed force with the aim of “seceding the northern part of Kosovo’s territory and joining it to Serbia,” with Radoičić as the main coordinator.
