Croatia to deploy its 41st contingent to Kosovo within KFOR

The Croatian Ministry of Defense has announced that the official ceremony for the deployment of the 41st contingent of troops to Kosovo, as part of the NATO-led KFOR mission, will be held tomorrow.

According to the announcement, the ceremony will take place at the “1st Brigade Tigers” barracks in Zagreb.

The event will be attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia and Minister of Defense, Ivan Anušić.

“The 41st HRVCON KFOR forces are composed of members of the Motorized Infantry Company, the Aviation Unit, the ISR Unit, the Staff Unit, national logistic support and intelligence elements, and the medical team,” the statement said.

This deployment underscores Croatia’s ongoing commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region through its contributions to international security operations. The Croatian contingent plays a crucial role in supporting the mission’s objectives of providing a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo, promoting regional stability, and assisting in the development of Kosovo’s security institutions.
