Croatia’s top diplomat, Gordan Grlić Radman, has voiced his country’s strong support for Kosovo’s admission to the Council of Europe, an organization he described as “extremely important.”

Radman stated that Kosovo’s acceptance would represent a strategic opportunity and a significant step toward strengthening European values across the entire continent. “Kosovo’s accession would eliminate a large gap in the continental coverage of the Council of Europe, ensuring the same human rights standards throughout the Western Balkans,” the Croatian foreign minister said.

Kosovo Thanks Croatia for Support

In response to Radman’s backing, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, a member of Kosovo’s Assembly and acting Foreign Minister, expressed gratitude on X (formerly Twitter). She thanked Croatia for its unwavering support.
