Kosovo Customs has received an official notification from the European Union (EU) – DG TAXUD, regarding new regulations for the transportation of goods to and through the EU. Starting April 1, 2025, the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) will be implemented.
This new system aims to enhance security and customs oversight for goods entering EU territory. According to the updated rules, all rail and road transporters must declare their goods’ data in advance through the Entry Summary Declaration (ENS).
The change is particularly important for businesses and transporters in Kosovo that operate with the EU. Kosovo Customs urges businesses to familiarize themselves with the new guidelines to ensure a smooth transition.
