During a detailed inspection at the Vermicë Border Crossing Point, Kosovo Customs officials, in cooperation with police officers, discovered undeclared goods suspected of violating Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
According to the official report, the following items were found:
- 2,000 pieces of “Marlboro Gold” cigarettes
- 240 cans of “Red Bull” energy drinks
Authorities confirmed that the goods were not declared upon arrival at the checkpoint, constituting a customs offense under Articles 251 and 244 of the Kosovo Customs and Excise Code (KDAK).
Given that the goods are excise products, customs officers proceeded with confiscating both the merchandise and the transport vehicle, in accordance with current legal provisions.
The case remains under ongoing investigation until the completion of relevant legal procedures.
