Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dačić said that the world is currently witnessing a division of spheres of influence, where major powers often act without fully respecting international law.
He emphasized that Serbia’s priority is to protect national interests, maintain old alliances, and avoid creating new enemies, highlighting that the country’s main goals are peace and economic stability.
Commenting on European Parliament members, Dačić noted that their role should not be overestimated, stressing that it is clear which institutions hold the greatest influence in Europe.
Regarding recent protests in Serbia, Dačić praised the police for maintaining order, saying that all officers performed their duties and no shields were abandoned.
