Jonathan David and Edon Zhegrova are two of Juventus’ most high-profile summer signings.
After a successful collaboration at Lille, they now aim to shine together in Serie A.
David joined Juventus earlier as a free transfer from Lille, while Zhegrova completed his move to Allianz Stadium on the last day of the summer transfer window.
The Canadian striker praised his Kosovan teammate, calling him a decisive player for the team.
“I’ve shared a few seasons with him. Edon is an extraordinary player; he has an extraordinary left foot and excellent dribbling – he’s a huge signing,” David said.
He added that their relationship has always been very good, both on and off the pitch, which greatly helped the team at Lille.
“At Lille, we always had a great relationship on and off the pitch. There’s an excellent connection between us, and this will also be an advantage at Juventus,” concluded the Canadian striker.
His statement confirms Juventus’ high expectations for Zhegrova, who is expected to bring creativity and assists to the Bianconeri attack.
