The number of people killed in the wake of a wave of Iranian rocket attacks on Israel has risen to three, according to emergency service reports.
Two individuals lost their lives and 19 others were injured after an Iranian missile struck near residential homes in Rishon Lezion, south of Tel Aviv, as reported in an updated statement by Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency response agency. Earlier, it had been confirmed that one person had died, according to CNN.
A third fatality occurred when a weapon fragment hit during another round of overnight Iranian strikes. A woman was declared dead at the scene in the city of Ramat Gan, located east of Tel Aviv, police confirmed.
