The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced that the application period for accreditation of observers and media for the early elections to the Kosovo Assembly, scheduled for December 28, 2025, has officially begun.
The application period, which started on December 5, will last until December 20, 2025. During these 16 days, certified political entities, NGOs, governmental and intergovernmental organizations, international organizations specializing in elections and human rights, media, and representatives of foreign countries can submit their accreditation requests online.
The application process is carried out in two steps. First, the authorized representative of the organization must fill in the required information on the platform: https://apliko.kqz-ks.org.
Next, the Office for Registration, Certification, and Financial Control of Political Entities will review and either approve or reject the initial application. Once verified, the authorized representative will receive credentials via e-mail to access the platform, where they must upload the details of the individuals requested for accreditation.
The CEC stated that for additional information, interested parties can contact the Office via e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at +383 38 200 81 010.
Only CEC-accredited observers will have the right to monitor the preparation process, election day, and other activities conducted at the 38 Municipal Counting Centers (QKNs) and the Central Counting and Results Center (QNR).
