The Government of Kosovo held a meeting today, during which the following decisions were made:
Approved the initiative for signing the Cooperation Agreement “Protocol for Training and Cooperation in the Field of Military Health” between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Turkey. This protocol allows for additional quotas for the treatment of KSF members in Turkish military medical institutions. With this agreement, the quota for medical treatments increases from 50 to 75 per year. All treatments are free and take place in military hospitals.
Approved the Draft Law on the Emergency Management Agency.
Approved the Draft Law on the Central Inspectorate for Environment, Water, Nature, Construction, as well as for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety. The draft law aims to improve the organization of inspection bodies, reform and increase efficiency within these bodies, enhance the implementation of existing legislation, and provide overall environmental protection for a better quality of life for citizens.
Nominated the representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to the Advisory Council for Communities as follows:
Ms. Nurije Shala, political advisor in the Prime Minister’s office,
Mr. Slavisha Mladenoviq, commissioner for languages, and
Mr. Eros Gashi, political advisor in the Ministry of Justice.
Established the Steering Committee for overseeing the implementation of the “Young Professionals Scheme” project under the IPA 2018 and IPA 2019 programs.
Allocated €45,000.00 for the Vienna Economic Forum to promote the Republic of Kosovo and provide a more promising perspective for economic cooperation on the international stage.
Approved the Job Catalogue for the Civil Service, as required by normative acts for public officials. This catalogue includes over 1,500 positions along with the classes, groups, and fields of education required for these professional category positions. It facilitates the classification and grouping of job positions for the professional category in the civil service.
Amended and supplemented the Government Decision No. 03/30 dated May 12, 2020.
Appointed the Ad hoc Commission for Professional Assessment for Recruitment for the High Executive Position: Executive Director at the Agency for Gender Equality within the Office of the Prime Minister.
Approved the program prepared by the Office for Community Affairs. This program aims to advance the rights of non-majority communities through grants and subsidies, and represents a step by our Government towards financial support for media, NGOs, students, and vulnerable groups, for full integration and equal development.
Approved the concept document for Waste Management.
Approved the final decision for the expropriation of properties affected by the implementation of the project “Conservation, Restoration, and Construction of the Reçak Massacre Memorial Complex.”
