PDK deputy Blerta Deliu stated that today there will be no change.
“I don’t see any change happening. There is no political will to change the candidate who, for the 19th time, will have the same outcome. Kosovo is entering the third month of blockade and institutional crisis, and those who show no steps to overcome this situation must take responsibility,” said Deliu.
The deputy expressed that PDK has been open to sit down, discuss, and explore possibilities to overcome the current situation.
“We have a parliamentary group barricaded with only one candidate, and Kosovo’s fate remains at the mercy of a candidate who still does not know whether she will remain a candidate or whether, after several attempts, Mrs. Haxhiu should withdraw from the candidacy,” Deliu added.
She refused to comment on statements by the outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti, saying that instead of addressing citizens’ problems and the blockade, he took the platform of public television to place labels on other parties.
