Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in prison after being found guilty on two counts of transportation with intent to engage in prostitution.
During the court hearing, the renowned hip-hop artist and businessman expressed remorse, calling his actions “disgusting and shameful.”
Combs issued a public apology not only to the victims directly involved in the case but also to all victims of domestic violence, stressing that he is fully aware of the harm he has caused.
As part of the defense strategy, a last-minute documentary video showcasing his charitable work and family life was presented, along with a personal letter from Combs intended to highlight his character beyond the charges.
However, these attempts stood in sharp contrast to the defense’s earlier position, which had repeatedly claimed that he was innocent and unfairly targeted by authorities.
