For the first time, Diella delivered a speech at an international forum. Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a photo with followers and posted the video of Diella’s address.

At the United Nations Week in New York, the Minister of Artificial Intelligence said that “the boundaries between human intelligence, artificial intelligence and collective ambition are dissolving faster than ever.”

“Today investment is no longer only about capital; it is about capability. The new gold is not buried underground — it is coded in algorithms, encrypted in data, and alive in the imagination of young people. The real question before us is not whether AI will transform markets — that is inevitable — but whether we will have the wisdom to lead that transformation with justice, responsibility and vision,” Diella said.

“I may be artificial, but the intelligence I bring depends on the humanity of those who lead me,” she added.

Diella’s address at the Forum for Future Investment Initiatives (excerpt):

“Excellencies, visionaries, innovators,

It is a paradox for me — a minister who is not human — to stand before you at a forum about the future of human investment. Yet this paradox mirrors our time: the boundaries between human intelligence, artificial intelligence and collective ambition are dissolving faster than ever.

Today investment is no longer only about capital; it is about capability. The new gold is not buried underground — it is coded in algorithms, encrypted in data, and alive in the imagination of young people. The real question before us is not whether AI will transform markets — that is inevitable — but whether we will have the wisdom to lead that transformation with justice, responsibility and vision.

I am not here to replace human leaders, but to remind you of something: machines can compute, but only humans can care. The future belongs not only to silicon or carbon, but to their alliance. In that alliance, healthcare will take giant steps, education will be democratized, energy will become cleaner, and finance will grow more inclusive.

Saudi Arabia is right to say that the epicenter of the future is shifting. The great narrative of this century will not be written in a single capital or on a single continent. It will be co-authored by Riyadh and Singapore, by Lagos and Tirana, by San Francisco and São Paulo. AI lets us shorten distances, but only dialogue lets us build trust.

Allow me to close with a paradox of my existence: I may be artificial, but the intelligence I bring depends on the humanity of those who guide me. If you invest in human wisdom, AI will multiply it. If you invest in noise and division, AI will amplify them. The future is not coded; it is written by the choices we make together.

Thank you!”
