Dimal Basha officially became Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly today after receiving the required votes.
Addressing the Assembly for the first time in his new role, Basha expressed his gratitude to all for their trust.
“I feel the responsibility for your trust and I also want to take this moment to thank Avni Dehari and Sala Jashari for conducting these sessions. I feel the great responsibility that has been entrusted to me. This place is the heart of our democracy, where the voice of all our citizens is represented. Our Republic was built on sacrifices, as freedom and the state are greater than any personal interest,” said Basha.
