Belgrade-based journalist and political analyst Radomir Dimić has issued a strong public appeal for mass participation in Kosovo’s parliamentary elections on December 28, addressing all citizens regardless of ethnicity or religion, with a particular focus on the Serbian community.

Speaking on behalf of the political movement “Multietnic Kosovo,” which he leads, Dimić emphasized that the group has been committed since its founding to democratic political culture, European prosperity, and strengthening Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state.

Sharp Criticism of the Serb List

Dimić delivered harsh criticism of the Serb List, accusing the party of terrorizing the Serb population in northern Kosovo and acting under direct political influence from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

“The Serb List has exercised pressure, fear, and intimidation against Serbs in the north,” Dimić said, calling on voters not to support the party under any circumstances.

He described the Serb List as a destabilizing force, arguing that it serves Belgrade’s interests rather than those of Kosovo Serbs, while contributing to insecurity and political manipulation.

Accusations of Criminal and Mafia Links

According to Dimić, Serbian political parties operating in Kosovo are deeply connected to mafia and criminal structures in Belgrade, structures which, he claims, fuel hostility toward the Republic of Kosovo and undermine democratic processes.

He explicitly called for the removal of the Serb List from Kosovo’s political scene, stating that its continued presence harms both interethnic coexistence and the long-term future of Kosovo Serbs.

Warning Against Vučić’s Influence

Dimić warned citizens against being drawn into artificial tensions, barricades, and crises, stressing that the true beneficiaries of such instability are political actors outside Kosovo, implicitly pointing to Vučić’s regime in Belgrade.

This comes amid open support by Vučić for the Serb List, further reinforcing concerns that Serbia continues to interfere directly in Kosovo’s elections, in violation of democratic norms and principles of sovereignty.

Call for a Democratic and European Future

Dimić described the upcoming elections as a historic and possibly final opportunity for citizens loyal to Kosovo to support democratic forces advocating peaceful coexistence, security, and development.

He underlined that the future of Kosovo Serbs lies in building trust, coexistence, and European integration within Kosovo, not in nationalist and destabilizing agendas imported from Belgrade.
