The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said that in BiH there is a crisis that has been going on for 26 years, in which rights were given to Serbs and then taken away in favor of Muslims. According to him, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the last colony in Europe.

“BiH is the last colony in Europe where people who came from abroad took the leadership, whom no one elected. We, the local politicians, just go to the elections, win or lose, but those who are not from BiH, they actually play the main role”, said Dodik in an interview with Jerusalem Post.

He emphasized that even the Croats are not satisfied with the situation in BiH, but that the Muslims do not want dialogue, but accuse the Serbs of inviting conflict, which is not true.

Dodik stated that the concerns of the international community about the conflict in BiH were unjustified, and that the sanctions imposed on him by the US were the result of the personal actions of American officials from BiH, who did not have his vision for BiH.

“History teaches us that the will of the people cannot be broken by punishment, and I have told this many times to my American interlocutors. Dodik is neither the beginning nor the end of RS. It would be better if they sit down and think how to solve the main problem, because if only one person is a problem in BiH, then BiH doesn’t really have a problem”, said Dodik.
