Kosovo showcased remarkable character to overturn a deficit and secure a dominant 5-2 victory over Armenia in an exciting friendly match at “Fadil Vokrri” stadium. While the first half ended 2-1 in favor of Armenia, Kosovo staged a powerful comeback in the second half to clinch the win.

The “Dardanians” had a difficult start, conceding an early goal in the eighth minute due to a mistake by goalkeeper Amir Saipi. However, Lumbardh Dellova leveled the score at 1-1 in the 23rd minute with a stunning long-range strike. Six minutes later, Armenia regained the lead with another impressive goal from a free-kick, a lead they held until halftime.

The second half, however, was all Kosovo. The home side scored four unanswered goals to establish a commanding 5-2 lead. Mërgim Vojvoda initiated the comeback from the penalty spot, followed by a beautiful shot from Lindon Emërllahu that put Kosovo ahead 3-2. Albion Rrahmani then sealed the victory, scoring two late goals to make it 4-2 and then 5-2 in the final minutes of the match.

Kosovo’s next match will be on June 9 against Comoros, also at “Fadil Vokrri.”
