European Commission President Ursula von Der Leyen posted a video on her official “X” profile yesterday, showcasing a map of Europe and the two new countries that have joined the Schengen Area, Bulgaria and Romania, reports Gazeta Express.
What stands out on this map is the fact that Kosovo is not recognized as a separate state and is shown as part of Serbia. This has sparked numerous reactions to the European Commission President’s post.
German politician Doris Pack also reacted, questioning her fellow countrywoman about Kosovo.
“Where is the state of Kosovo?” commented Pack on Von Der Leyen’s post.
Von Der Leyen posted the video yesterday at 2:00 PM, and the video has since garnered around 2 million views.
