The Government of Kosovo has unanimously approved a new Draft Law on Citizenship, which, according to Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla, aims to facilitate the restoration of citizenship for the diaspora.
The law seeks to align Kosovo’s practices with international standards and enable citizens who had renounced their citizenship due to restrictions in their countries of residence to regain it more easily.
