The Drenas–Shtrubullovë–Krajkovë road has been temporarily closed following damage caused by recent floods, the Municipality of Drenas announced, reports Rks News.
According to the announcement, the bridge near the Drenas cemetery has suffered serious damage and poses a risk to traffic.
“For safety reasons, traffic over the bridge is temporarily prohibited until further notice,” the statement reads.
The municipality added that in the coming days, all necessary measures will be taken to repair the damage and restore normal traffic as soon as possible.
Police and firefighting units are present at the site and are monitoring the situation.
