Acting Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Hysen Durmishi, has provided an update on the rapid progress of construction for two new bridges over the Iber River in Mitrovica.
“Morning, the foundation of the abutment, and in the afternoon, the foundation of the middle of the bridge. Unprecedented intensity in bridge construction in Kosovo,” Durmishi wrote. He added optimistically, “In September, we will cross with cars and walk on the sidewalks.”
The construction project for these two bridges is valued at approximately 3 million euros.
Meanwhile, the Special Prosecution Office has launched an investigation into this contract to assess its compliance with legal tendering procedures.
