On September 6, 2024, Dutch Ambassador Karin Boven made her first visit to the city of Mitrovica to get informed about the local situation.
According to a post from the embassy on X (formerly Twitter), she was accompanied by the EULEX Coordinator for the north, Arno van der Pas, and the Security and Stability Officer of the Embassy, Lirika Agusholli.
